Meet Your Training Team

From “The Golden State”, Dr. McClure was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where he attended the University of California and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology. He then served in The United States Navy for seven years as a Naval Aviator, flying P-3’s. Dr. McClure attended Dental School at the University of Florida where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in May of 2000. Following graduation, he served 5 more years in the U.S. Navy as a Dental Officer, making deployments twice to the desert and once to Djibouti, Africa. In 2005 Dr. McClure left the Navy and has been practicing in the Jacksonville area ever since.

In 2007 Dr. McClure was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. More recently, after years of hard work, and over 2000 hours of Continuing Education, Dr. McClure was awarded the Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2013 after two extensive days of more written and oral board testing, Dr. McClure was awarded Board Certification. Less than 700 Dentist have ever achieved this designation, only 1% of all Dental professionals.

In addition to the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. McClure is a Board Certified member in the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOI);  Implant Prosthetic Section of the ICOI; American Academy of Implant Dentistry; Florida Academy of General Dentistry; Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology; American Dental Society of Anesthesiology; American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry; American Dental Association; North East District Dental Association; Past President of the Clay County Dental Society; and he was also awarded Mastership in the ADSA’s college of Sedation.

In 2019, Dr McClure opened Digital Dental Design, LLC a boutique dental lab specializing in crown and bridge, implant restorations and digital designing.  In 2021, Dr McClure opened his office for hands on Intraoral scanner training with the i500 Medit scanner and in 2022 after using EXOCAD software for 6 years, Dr McClure trained under and became Certified as a Level III Trainer by EXOCAD.  His passion for education and training is evident by all the accolades he’s received during his dental career. 

Hi, my name is Amanda and I have worked with Dr. McClure for 12 years and have been scanning digitally since 2010. My husband and I have been married for 14 years and we have 3 beautiful children. I enjoy cooking, crocheting, and spending time with my family. I look forward to helping with any of your scanning needs. 

Hello my name is Marisol I joined the OPDP family back in January 2022, after relocating from Texas. I’ve been a dental assistant for the past 12 years and earned my dental certification at Concord Career College in Texas. Since becoming a dental assistant I have enhanced my knowledge in dentistry by taking several continuing education courses. Having previous experience with the Cerec CAD/CAM and Itero, I now shift my focus to the Medit i700 system giving me 4 years total of digital scanner experience.  I believe in education and as a result have decided to return to school and earn my associates and bachelors degree in healthcare. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, four adult children and of course our fur baby Chewy. My hobbies include photography, reading, listening to good music, dancing and simply just enjoying life by the water.
